Volunteer Dennis Johnston Park

Thank you so much for wanting to volunteer your time to our organization. Due to COVID restrictions, we have things you and your group can do from home or as individual/small groups < 3 on your own time that do not involve being around groups of people.

• help grow milkweed (I would supply the 4" round pots and seeds, and give your instructions on how to plant/pot them)
• help with Butterfly & Hummingbird Garden maintenance and planting (this would the done at the butterfly garden at Dennis Johnston Park. You would be shown things that need tending to like weeding beds, cutting back plants if needed, planting new plants, etc.; collect milkweed seeds from native plants in garden)
• if any family is interested in helping create brochures and lesson plans, please let me know.
